The webpage you are viewing is operated, controlled and belongs to Surfcamp 360.
Under these terms and conditions, Surfcamp 360 is referred to as “we”, “our” or “the surfcamp”. By booking your stay, packages, activities or any other services with Surfcamp 360, you automatically agree with all our services, terms and conditions, and you will be referred to as a customer, guest or visitor.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
After sending your booking request by email or contact form on our website, you will receive an email confirming availability and total cost.
After agreeing, you will receive a new email containing details on how to pay 25% of the total amount. This amount must be paid within 48 hours by bank transfer.
The 25% of the booking amount are non-refundable as described in the cancellation conditions.
All prices in Euro (EUR).
Please always send us a proof of payment so that we can associate it with your booking.
The remaining amount will be paid upon check-in by cash, ATM or Visa.
If you would like to pay the remaining amount by bank transfer, you must do so within 2 days prior to the check-in date.
When a person (group leader) makes a reservation on behalf of a group of people, he/she confirms that has the authority to sign the agreement on behalf of each of the members of the group, including children. The responsible Person must ensure that all members of the group are aware of and accept these Terms and Conditions. In any case, the Person responsible for the group shall be responsible for the total cost of the services, both his/her own costs and group costs, including any related charges, under these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse reservations, in our sole discretion, without giving any reason. Please inform us immediately if there are any discrepancies in the costs or details of your booking.
Cancellation conditions for customers
All cancellations should be notified by e-mail as soon as possible.
We do not accept cancellations by telephone or other means other than by e-mail.
Advance booking amount of 25% is non-refundable. However, we will give you a voucher of the same amount to use in another booking. These compensation vouchers are valid for one year from the date of cancellation.
Surfcamp 360 will not be liable for flight delays and/or cancellations.
Cancellation conditions for Surfcamp
We reserve the right to cancel your stay in any circumstance. However, you will always be notified 30 days before the scheduled departure, except for reasons of “Force Majeure” which include war, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, natural and technical disasters, airport closures or congestion, terrorist activity, industrial, natural or nuclear disasters, and unavoidable technical problems with transportation, fires and adverse weather conditions. If the change or cancellation is due to “Force Majeure”, no compensation will be paid.
Booking changes
Whenever you need to change your booking, let us know as soon as possible. We will make every effort to meet your needs.
Date changes will always depend on our availability and may be subject to price changes, according to your desired dates.
We will not accept changes to stays or packages of lower value.
Early Termination
Customers are expected to behave in an orderly and sociable manner and to be responsible for their own conduct. If their behavior is inappropriate and threatens the normal operation of Surfcamp, vehicles, activities or seriously disturb the enjoyment of other guests, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation, terminating contractual obligations. The guilty party shall be liable for the cost of any damages caused.
If a customer ignores health and safety regulations during practical activities, his/her access to these activities will be denied.
Insurance
The Surfcamp has liability insurance and personal accident insurance for all activities.
We are not responsible for any other type of insurance.
It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain adequate travel and accident insurance to cover all medical expenses, including treatment, transportation and evacuation; repatriation expenses; baggage loss or delay;
All personal belongings are the customer’s sole responsibility. It is also the sole responsibility of the person responsible for the group to inform and ensure that all members of the group have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
Responsibility
The Surfcamp products and services may contain an element of risk. By accepting our services and/or products under these booking conditions, customers are aware of the inherent risks and possible dangers involved in our activities. The Surfcamp is not responsible for any incidents that may occur beyond our control.
Customers must be aware of the regulations and laws in the countries they visit.
We are not liable for personal injury, death or damages caused by the customer if such alleged damages are the responsibility of the customer or due to circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for any additional costs to the customer that may occur due to delay, accident or interruption of the service or product beyond our control.
Customers agree to pay for any damages caused by them to our facilities, equipment, employees and/or any third party providing services to the Surfcamp. Customers are required to pay their expenses, by any means possible, prior to checkout.
Surf, material and weather conditions
Under no circumstances may Surfcamp be liable for poor surf conditions, including adverse weather conditions or other natural conditions beyond our control.
We provide details about local surf conditions and weather conditions on request, but it is the responsibility of the guest to do his/her own research on the surf and weather conditions.
Safety of all participants is our primary concern so whenever we feel that safety is compromised, we will cancel or change the activities.
Customers should handle surf material as instructed by surf instructors. Any damage to the material caused by misuse will be charged to the customer.
Lost or Stolen Goods
The Surfcamp is not responsible for any theft or loss of personal property in our facilities or vehicles.
We will make every effort to ensure the safety of customers’ personal property. However, the guest is responsible for his/her own belongings. We emphasize that it is the customer’s responsibility to have money, valid passports, authorized visas, vaccines and preventive medicines, and any other necessary travel documents.
Transportation
We provide transportation services to certain destinations for the convenience of the customer. The use of these vehicles is entirely at your own risk. We are not liable for death or personal injury caused by the use of this service.
Airport Transfer
If the customer books a transfer from Lisbon airport to our Surfcamp, we will ensure that a driver will be at the airport to pick you up.
Customers are required to show their booking confirmation to the driver.
We reserve the right to refuse the transfer to any customer who behaves aggressively or shows signs of intoxication. If the transfer is rejected, we have the right to charge 100% of transfer fees.
If the customer intends to carry surfboards or luggage weighing more than 30 kg per person, he/she must inform the Surfcamp at the time of booking. If the customer does not inform the Surfcamp and carries overweight or oversized luggage, we reserve the right to refuse the transfer or to charge EUR 20 for the luggage.
If the guest books an airport transfer and then wants to cancel it, it must be done at least 24 hours before the arrival. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge the transfer fee.
In case of flight delay, the customer must notify the Surfcamp about flight details and estimated time of arrival.
In case of delay caused by traffic, weather or other factors, we will not be responsible. However, we will try to inform the customer as soon as possible about our estimated time of arrival at the airport.
Activities and Tours
The Surfcamp organizes a variety of optional activities and tours.
Activities, tours and prices may be subject to change without notice.
Customers participate in activities and tours voluntarily and always at their own risk.
We are not responsible for damages caused during activities and tours.
Photography and Video
Most of our services include video analysis and photo shoot. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the Surfcamp reserves the right to use video and photo material for any advertising activity without obtaining further consent.
We also reserve the right to use in our promotional texts any comments made by customers, surveys or supplementary letters regarding our products and services without obtaining additional consent.
Special requirements and conditions
If the customer has specific needs or special medical conditions, such as allergies, physical or mental disability, etc., please let us know at the time of booking.
We can not be held liable for any injury, death, accident or any other irregularity that may occur as a result of the customer’s special condition.
Rules of the premises
Since the Surfcamp is a space shared with other guests, common sense and respect among customers must prevail.
Guests are expected to keep the noise down after 10 pm. After midnight, absolute silence is required.
Bathrooms are shared so do your part to keep them clean.
Guests are not allowed to take a bath after midnight as a sign of respect for other guests.
Kitchen is a common space for all our guests so each guest is expected to wash and store the dishes so that other guests can use the kitchen in perfect conditions.
Check-in can be made from 3 pm to midnight. Checkout can be made until 2 pm.
